Just a short note to thank you for your generosity in providing Fork Lift
training last week, I really appreciate it and also know the charity are very
grateful. In return I commit to putting everything I learned into practice
safely as I volunteer for Hope and Aid direct.
I believe they have already shipped around 35 fully loaded 40 foot trailers of
aid to the people of Ukraine. Until now, Charles (the charity founder) has
had to do most of the loading himself, now that I’m trained we should be able to
share the workload and perhaps together we can increase the number of
deliveries.
As a result of the course I’m already looking at how we might improve our daily
checklist records and I know Charles is looking at adding fork lift experience
and certification into volunteer personnel records.
Please also pass on my thanks to Paul. It was great that he was able to
tailor the exercises to those that we will likely do most often when using the
fork lifts after training. I expected to learn the theory and then put it
into practice, but Paul also took time to share lots of real world tips and
techniques that I’m sure are not part of all training courses, but will really
make a difference as I get experience.

give it a go. I passed my Cat C course on my second attempt (made a silly
mistake on a roundabout) pleased to say passed my CE course on my first test. A

which enabled me to tow a trailer I must say they were not very helpful, spoke
to the guy at Manor Training and they were able to offer me a two day course in
